The number of registered users of Türkiye’s e-Government Gateway (e-Devlet Kapısı), which gives citizens digital access to public services, has reached 68,193,133.
Launched in 2008, the e-Government Gateway has gradually become a centralised digital platform integrating hundreds of public institutions and offering thousands of public services. It allows citizens to complete a wide range of administrative tasks securely and efficiently without visiting government offices in person. Services cover areas such as justice, social security and insurance, health, transport, education, environment and urban planning, reinforcing the gateway’s position as a pillar of Türkiye’s digital transformation strategy.
Registered users numbered 1,955,675 in 2010 and rose to 25,768,832 by 2015. Between 2015 and the end of 2025, the user base grew about 2.6-fold to today’s 68.2 million. By registration method, 33.9 million users access the system via SMS passwords, while 30.9 million registered using domestic password envelopes.
Other access channels include internet banking, e-signature, mobile signature and Republic of Türkiye ID cards, reflecting a diverse and secure set of authentication options. Age data show broad uptake across demographic groups: nearly 10 million people aged 15–24, more than 14 million aged 25–34, 13.6 million aged 35–44 and more than 8.9 million citizens aged 65 and over use the platform, indicating strong digital inclusion across age groups.
Since its launch, the gateway has recorded more than 25 billion logins — 14.9 billion via the web and 10.5 billion via the mobile app — showing continuous, widespread use. By December 2025 the platform offered 9,170 services. Among the most used last year were Social Security Institution (SGK) registration records and services, traffic fine queries by licence plate, tax debt queries and payments, and vehicle registration queries.
The platform currently provides services from 205 central public institutions, 206 universities, 543 municipalities, 30 water and sewerage administrations and 129 private organisations, making the e-Government Gateway one of the most comprehensive digital public service platforms in Türkiye.
