Türkiye is holding its first “E-Commerce Week” in Istanbul on 21–22 November.

The event aims to strengthen cooperation in digital commerce, showcase innovative solutions and expand the sector’s economic and social impact. It is organised by Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade in cooperation with the E-Commerce Operators Association (ETID) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) at Istanbul’s Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center.

Highlights of the event

The week includes panels, masterclasses, workshops, exhibitions, experience zones, S2B (startup-to-business) sessions and networking meetings. Its main goal is to shape the outlook of Türkiye’s digital commerce by connecting businesses, experts, investors and government bodies. Topics include domestic and international success stories, entrepreneurial innovation, AI-driven opportunities and the effects of digital transformation.

Türkiye’s e-commerce volume was about USD 90 billion in 2024, generated through 6 billion transactions by 601,000 sellers. E-commerce now accounts for 19.1% of the country’s total trade — one in five transactions is digital.
