New details of the 500,000-unit social housing plan have emerged.
It has been announced that some of the units built in Istanbul will be offered for rent. For the first time, the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) will build rental units and lease them to citizens at affordable prices. Millions of citizens are awaiting the official announcement of the new 500,000-unit social housing plan.
The project will be implemented in all 81 provinces, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will present it this month. In this context, it was announced that some units in Istanbul will be offered only for rent.
