Aloft Hotels, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, has announced its debut in Istanbul, Türkiye, with the opening of Aloft Istanbul Karaköy. The new hotel has 107 rooms and suites, each decorated with artworks and designs inspired by the area’s cultural scene. Public spaces offer billiards and games, as well as the WXYZ bar, where guests can enjoy live music with a drink.
The hotel also has an all-day restaurant serving international cuisine, complemented by a terrace with city views. For convenience, Re:fuel by Aloft offers a 24-hour self-service shop with snacks and essentials. For children, the Camp Aloft programme provides special sleep amenities and activities.
Through its Arf programme, the hotel also welcomes pets so that four-legged companions are comfortable during their stay. Additional facilities include a meeting room with modern audio-visual technology and the Re:charge gym, open around the clock. Local artists such as Serap Sökül and İçim Dilan Köse contributed to the hotel’s visual appeal under curator Elif Ece Kazan.
General manager Zeren Öztürk said: “We look forward to welcoming guests to Aloft Istanbul Karaköy, a lively, modern hotel in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. It offers a fresh experience that reflects Karaköy’s creative energy.” The hotel is close to Galata Tower and Istanbul Modern, as well as the city’s cruise port. The opening marks the continued expansion of the Aloft brand in Türkiye, making it the brand’s second property in the country.
